About this levy
Bellingham School District's Enrichment Levy (formerly Maintenance & Operations, or M&O) is a voter-approved property-tax measure supplementing state basic-education funding for staff, programs, and operations. Following the 2018 McCleary decision, Washington capped Enrichment levies at the lower of $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed value or a state-set per-pupil amount.
